I’ll admit, I’m a bit late to the CBD trend. It’s been all over social media for quite some time now. Doctors are claiming there’s still not enough research to support certain claims about CBD helping skin, weight loss, anxiety, etc., but would there really be all of this hype if something wasn’t working? Negative, soldier.

Recently a trusty friend told me about a product she swears by – Daily Drops by Equilibria . I have epilepsy and have been having issues sleeping lately thanks to anxiety and stress, which is basically an unfortunate guarantee that I will have some form of seizure. So I contacted my neurologist and asked what she thought if I began taking some form of CBD. She said there’s not enough research for the doctors to actually recommend it just yet, but if it will help me sleep and relieve some stress for me, then it’s worth a try.

So, as soon as I got off the phone with her, I did a little research and purchased some of those drops my friend has been raging about. It only took one try and I was sold. I could tell this product would help solve some of my issues, and I was correct.

This brand is marketed towards women, but can be used by men as well. The company says, “Use Daily Drops to help increase a sense of calm and balance in the face of day-to-day stress. Members love taking oil drops before bed to increase relaxation, and during the day to promote focus and decrease tension.” Boy, are they spot-on.

Being the high-strung person I’ve formed into recently, I use it morning and nightly and can honestly say I haven’t felt this good in almost a whole year. I am finally sleeping again (thank God; this means no seizures), and am way more productive during the day, which everyone could benefit from.

The Daily Drops are “Colorado-grown, 100% full spectrum hemp flower oil concentrate.” What the heck does this all mean, you may ask? “Full-spectrum CBD oil contains more than just CBD. It includes many other cannabinoids and terpenes (including trace amounts of THC – tetrahydrocannabinol) that combine to create an ‘entourage effect’ of compounded benefits, activating the CBD for best efficacy in the body.” Yes, this is legal. And no, it won’t get you high because it has less than 0.3% THC, which is what makes it federally legal.

So how do you use these drops exactly? All you need to do is put the drops under your tongue for 30-60 seconds then swallow. You’ll feel better – but not high – very quickly, I promise. If drops don’t seem to be your thing, the company offers many other products, including soft gels. I use the drops because they have a faster-acting effect.

Even if you aren’t epileptic, there are sooo many reasons to use these products. CBD products help with stress, anxiety, sleep, and even beauty. Yes, you read that right. There are beauty benefits to using CBD products. Apply CBD oil to your face topically and it helps clear up your skin. Apply it to your scalp, it might prevent hair loss a bit. And the most obvious way it helps with beauty is by relieving stress. The less stressed you are, the clearer your skin will become and prettier your luscious locks will be. Win-win, amiright?
